Generally talking, there are five types of cookies:
Technical cookies:
Those are the most basic cookies. They allow the user to browse through a web page, a platform or an application and to use the different options or services existing in the same, as for example, controlling data traffic and communication, identifying the session, getting access to parts of restricted access, recalling elements making up an order, carrying out the process of a purchase order, making an application for registration or taking part in an event, using safety elements during navigation, storing contents for spreading videos or sound tracks or sharing contents through social networks.
Personalization cookies:
They are those that allow the user to access the service with some general features that are predefined in the user’s terminal according to a series of criteria like for instance the language, the type of browser used to get access to the service, the local settings from where you get access, etc.
Analysing cookies:
They are those that allow the party responsible for them to follow up and analyse the behaviour of the users of the web sites they are linked to. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of the web site, application or platform and to prepare navigation profiles of the users of such sites, applications and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of data concerning the use made of the service by its users.
Advertising cookies:
They are those that allow the management, as efficient as possible, of the advertising spaces that the party responsible may have included in a web, application, or platform from which the required service is provided, based on criteria like the published contents or the frequency with which the adverts are displayed.
Behavioural advertising Cookies:
