It´s now been a couple of months since we purchased our apartment so this letter of appreciation is well over due.
Debbie and I are both very pleased with the apartment and any worries we had are now gone largely due to your friendly and professional assistance.
Prior to our first visit to Puerto Rico we had researched buying a property abroad, so as well as knowing the benefits we had also learned of many horror stories mainly in Spain and Tenerife where we initially considered buying. As soon as we set foot in PUerto Rico we decided that this was where we wanted to be. Having scoured the internet we were well aware of Cardenas Real Estate as we considered your web site to be the best of all the real estate agents in Puerto Rico.
We have lost count of how many properties you showed us and having decided on which one we would go for you put a lot of effort into the negotiations. Once the offer was accepted you kept us informed and advised of what needed to be done which took a lot of pressure off us.
Upon our return we were impressed with the way you translated the legal proceedings and dealt with the problem encountered when the seller decided they wanted more money.
This showed your honesty as at the end of the day they are the ones paying for your services and if it was not for your integrity in advising the difference between what was legally correct and what was traditionally correct we may well have had to pay more money.
Both of us would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone else on our experience so far.
We are coming out again in November and will pop in to say hello.

Dear Leonor,

I came to Gran Canaria from England for two weeks in October 2001, with a view to purchasing a small apartment for me to live in on a permanent basis.(...)
I walked into the office of Cardenas where you greeted me in a very friendly but efficient way, and from that moment on my problems just disappeared. You showed me photographs of some available properties and very soon you whisked me off to see one or two. Time was running out for me - I only had a few days left - but thanks to your help and your knowledge of your business, I was able to make an acceptable offer on a suitable apartment, open a non-resident bank account, transfer funds from the UK to Puerto Rico to be used as the deposit and really do everything that had to be done to ensure that the purchase would go through OK. Nothing was too much trouble for you and without your help I know that my trip would not have been successful.
I returned to England to sell my house there, and whilst this was going on you constantly kept in touch with me, keeping me up to date with progress at this end, and I eventually moved into my apartment in December after completing the final paperwork and everything went very smoothly. Throughout the whole of my dealings with you, nothing has ever been too much trouble, and your continued help and support since my purchase is very much appreciated. I would heartly recommend both you and the Company that you represent to anyone contemplating buying a property in Gran Canaria.
