Sports Marina Las Palmas, Gran Canaria
The largest commercial harbour and leisure marina in the Canary Islands is located in the capital of Las Palmas and houses a wide range of services and facilities including ship-makers, spare parts shops, bars, restaurants etc. The yacht bay currently offers 1,250 mooring spaces over a surface area of 210,000 m² and can accommodate yachts up to a maximum length of 45 meters.

Las Palmas is a bustling city overflowing with culture and history; places of interest include the oldest districts of the city, Triana together with Vegueta, the latter was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1990 and a visit is highly recommended. The streets are filled with small side streets, a main pedestrian shopping area, theaters, historical places of interest, markets and much more. If you happen to be here in February / March time then you must not miss the opportunity to attend Carnival, which is quickly becoming one of the biggest and most spectacular events in the whole of Spain, held over 3 weeks in the well known Santa Catalina park just across from the Marina.
