Mogan: Leading position for hotel occupancy in the whole Spain last December

Data from the National Institute of Statistics for the month of December, published a few days ago, gave again our municipality the top position for hotel occupancy. Mogán held the top rank during 5 months last year, namely January, February, March as well as November and December 2010. The Canary Islands at large were again last December the main destination for non-resident travellers in Spain with 54% of overnight stays. It is also the region with the highest rate of occupancy (59.1%). But in the case of Mogán, the rate was 73.4% and 69.6% during the week-ends.
