Monte Làon, a stroke of property genius

Published in Living in Gran Canaria
What would you say to a place where you could live in beautiful seclusion, in a luxury villa with stunning views, and plenty of top quality golf courses within easy reach? Sounds too good to be true? Not in Gran Canaria. Of course you will want to be near the sea and all the shops and nightlife, again, that is not a problem. Cardenas Estate agents have brought all these winning elements together in the southern area of Gran Canaria. Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Puerto Rico, and smaller more intimate beach resorts like Arguineguin are all on the south west corner of the island with four of the islands eight golf courses close to hand. Monte León may be a development you haven't heard of so it will come as a lovely surprise when you see the modern luxury villas with plenty of garden space and set against the backdrop of rugged hills and lush green vegetation. Serene and relaxing, they are just the place to get away from it all, and a great base for the golf enthusiast. Monte León, Gran Canaria Now those four golf courses, you have Anfi Tauro near Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogan, which has nine holes but will soon have 18. Salobre is near Arguineguin and is a brand new 18 hole delight, and Campo de Golf Maspalomas is a real treat, backing onto the sand dunes national park, with a two storey driving range. Campo de Meloneras Golf, close to Maspalomas and Arguineguin, has opened recently with a fantastic 18 hole course. We can't promise that your game will improve dramatically, but with hours of warm sunshine to play in and an inviting investment property to come home to, you wont be losing too much sleep over your swing.
