Offical opening of the new library in Arguineguín

On Monday the 10th of May Francisco Gonzalez, Mayor of Mogán officially opened the new library in Arguineguín. The layout of the library includes a reception room and press room, reading room, warehouse, storage room, public toilets, two rooms for group work, and offices. Divided into two areas, on one side is the study room designed for adults which provides a study and reference area with a seating capacity for 72 persons, computers with internet access, wi-fi area and a collection of foreign and local references. On the other side there is an infant-youth group room, a classroom of collective work and an activity room. An equipment loan service is available for members and international newspapers and books are also available to read. To become a member you will need to present 2 passport size photographs and a copy of your passport / identity card and it is best to take along your NIE document or local register certificate (Certificado de empadronamiento). It is located next to the municipal gym and swimming pool in Arguineguin and opening times are from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 hours.
